Dateline: Jamesville

Alice Lynnette White Jones, 69 of 3771 Brown Rd. died Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Jones was born in Bertie County on April 1, 1949 to Selma Mae Jernigan White and the late Joseph Bryant White. She was retired from Weyerhaeuser as a maintenance worker. She enjoyed drawing and painting. She was preceded in death by a brother Joey Craig White.

Survivors include; daughter, Dawn W. Manzie (Charles Ralph Jr.) of Jamesville; sister, Gail White Dickerson (Charles) of Jamesville; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Jamesville Cemetery with Mr. Carol Jones officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and other times from the home.
