Alice Mae Whitaker Crisp 88, a resident of Lauderdale Ave. Hampton, VA, died Thursday, September 16, 2021.

Alice was born October 19, 1932 to the late Garvey and Lillie Mae Hoggard Whitaker. She attended Bertie County Schools, and later married Robert Henry Crisp who preceded her in death. Alice was a homemaker and devoted member of Parkview Church of God in Newport News, VA.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in the Walker Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Allen Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service at Walker funeral Home.

Alice was preceded in death by two sisters, Velma White and Sara Hardison.

Survivors include her son, Eddie Crisp (Dixie) of Newport News VA; grandson, Paul Crisp of Hampton, VA; and her niece, Wanda Kay Trescot also of Hampton, VA.
