Dr. Rev. Alan "Al" Keith Mizelle, 59, of Greens Cross Road, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022 at Sentara Princess Ann Hospital in VA Beach, VA.  He was born in Bertie County April 14, 1963 to the late Rev. Hubert Leslie and Doris White Mizelle and predeceased by a brother, Rev. Hugh "Ducie" Mizelle. Al was the pastor of Siloam Baptist Church.  He was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and loved to fish. Al had preached in many churches in and around eastern North Carolina.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 20, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Chapel in Windsor. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 20 ^th from 1:00 PM until funeral time at the funeral home and from the home at other times.  Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery following the service

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Anders Mizelle of the home; daughter, Morgan Mizelle of Colerain; son, Chris Mizelle of Concord; brothers, Tim Mizelle and wife Donna of Colerain, Mike Mizelle and wife Lorraine of South Mills; sister, Billie Jo Hamilton; grandchildren, Damien Ray, Aiden Mizelle, Adam Mizelle.
